King Hamad American Mission Hospital, A’ali
BWS are proud to have been appointed as Lender’s Technical Advisor for the construction of the new King Hamad American Mission Hospital at A’ali, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The 57,000 m2, BD 25 Million (USD 66 Million) twin-hospital complex is due for Completion in 2022. It will be the first eco-friendly solar-run hospital in Bahrain, and the first to introduce a hybrid operating system involving robots on a large-scale capacity. It will include single-roomed intensive care units, an imaging centre, infertility centre, 300-seat auditorium for meetings and conferences, as well as a special needs children’s development assessment and treatment centre.

The new hospital will be AMH’s fifth location in Bahrain, with other locations in Manama, Saar, Amwaj and Riffa.
Established by Christian missionaries in 1902, the first one-room clinic of AMH was in the Manama Suq and it later moved to its present location in Manama.
