BWS working in joint venture with Iraqi Consultants AMBS provided design compliance, project and cost management and construction supervision services to the Ministry for Youth & Sport on this US$500 million project comprising 65,000 and 10,000 seater stadia and all supporting and accommodation facilities.
The brief
A particularly challenging commission that BWS would rise to in order to assist in the re-building of war-torn Iraq. Our team patiently navigated through harsh conditions, supply issues and power cuts by working eight weeks on, two off and transferring through Kuwait City.
